The Game Changers

The products that have changed my beauty game in the recent months.

Kiehls Micro Blur Skin Perfector £23 This product I had high expectations for because of the likes of Amelia Liana's recommendations. Now I had been looking for a good pore minimizer for a while and when I'd heard about this I gave it a whirl. And yes, my huge pores around my nose are certainly minimised now, but not only that, this works incredibly as a primer and recently i have gone through a hole day at sixth form, came home, had an hour nap, cooked dinner, ate dinner, and what ever was on my face; foundation, concealer, bronzer.. you name it, it was still there. AH-MAZING.

Clinique High Impact Extreme Mascara £18 Too many times have I bought expensive mascaras and not been that fussed about them. BUT NOT NOW PEOPLE.

This little baby is the most volumising, lengthening,

seperating and blackening (think I made that word up in excitement) mascara I have ever used. This mascara is just THE boss. Apart from when you want to take it off , cause i tell you it is a bit of a toughy. So if anyone has any eye make-up remover reccomendations, let me know.. please.

Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner in Black £12 Never have I really been much of an eyeliner wearer, due to the fact its pretty difficult to master. But I thought if I ever have the chance to be Alexa Chung, I'm gonna have to learn. This eyeliner makes the whole process so easier. I just hold the pen horizontally, beginning with the nib halfway across my eye and swipe it towards the outer corner, and then carry on the line thinner to the inner corner, and then theres the flick. Easy Peasy. The nib just makes it so easy to do and also the eyeliner is super black which of course is a bonus.

Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Powder £35 Having tried the Sculpting Powder and the Creamy Glow duo I thought it would be about time i purchased this pretty hyped up little product. The pearlescent powder creates glowing features of the face without the appearance of glitter. It just adds the most gorgeous sheen.. it can be applied lightly for day time and more intense for the evening, and the colour really suits my skin tone, and others. I also used this product on a girl whos prom make-up I did - Blogpost here.

Benefit Gimme Brow £17.50 Being a girl with white-blonde eyebrows this whole eyebrow game thang is pretty hard for me. Most producta just tend to come off after a few hours revealing the truth that i dont actually have much of a visible brow. The Benefit Gimme Brow is a product that has a brush-on fiber technique which grips on to the eyebrow hairs creating a thick and natural looking eyebrow. As benefit quotes "creating brows where before there were none" I say "Yep, true dat"

Dr LeWinns Renunail £17.50 I started using this in December when my nails were prone to splitting, and would never really grow past being stumps. It is a treatment that lasts for 4 weeks and is totally worth it. You apply 2 coats of this on the first day of use and for every day for the next week you apply one more coat, at the end of the week you take a days break; give your nails a bit of breathing time and then repeat the process. This has seriously changed my nails, I now have people (even close friends) asking me if i'm wearing false nails or where i got my nails done, because even nail polish applies 100x better now. Seriously this stuff is a total game changer, at least i can rock the 'nail game' (new thing) over the eyebrow game when they are being a pain.
